THE SCHOOL PROGRAM IS ROOTED IN PROGRESSIVE EDUCATION, WHICH VALUES CURRENT RESEARCH ON MULTIPLE INTELLIGENCES AS A SOURCE FOR PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT. THE GARDNER SCHOOL STRIVES TO CULTIVATE LIFELONG LEARNERS WHO VALUE THE LEARNING PROCESS AS MUCH AS THE ACQUISITION OF SKILLS AND SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE. CURRICULUM IS DESIGNED AND IMPLEMENTED IN A DEVELOPMENTALLY APPROPRIATE MANNER TO BEST MEET THE NEEDS OF STUDENTS; CLASSROOMS AT GARDNER ARE IMAGINATIVE, JOYFUL LEARNING ENVIRONMENTS THAT SUPPORT STUDENTS DEVELOPING KNOWLEDGE, RESILIENCE, AND CRITICAL, INDEPENDENT THINKING SKILLS.
