Part 3

LUMINATA LANTERN PARADE, PETIT TROLL, TROLLOWEEN, THE FREMONT SOLSTICE PARADE, AND OTHER FESTIVALS FOR THE PUBLIC. SEVERAL ARTIST GRANTS ISSUED FOR COMMUNITY EVENTS, AND SEVERAL NEW COMMUNITY PROJECTS. OUR WORK PROVIDED SUPPORT TO MORE THAN 1,000 ARTISTS AND OUR PARADES AND FESTIVALS WERE ATTENDED BY 250,000 PEOPLE. FREMONT ARTS COUNCIL HOSTED THE FINAL DAYS OF THE ALASKAN WAY VIADUCT THROUGH PERFORMANCE AND TEMPORARY ART INSTALLATIONS AND A MINI-PARADE. WE PROVIDED CARE FOR THE FREMONT TROLL SCULPTURE, A SEATTLE ICON AND THE MOST VISITED PUBLIC ART IN THE CITY.
