THE ORGANIZATION'S GOALS ARE TO CREATE COMMUNITY AWARENESS OF THE MAGNITUDE OF SUBSTANCE ABUSE AND RELATED PROBLEMS AND TO PROMOTE SUBSTANCE ABUSE PREVENTION THROUGH DISSEMINATION OF ACCURATE SUBSTANCE ABUSE INFORMATION, COMPREHENSIVE SUBSTANCE ABUSE EDUCATION FOR STUDENTS, PARENTS, AND OTHER ADULTS, DEVELOPMENT OF VIABLE DRUG FREE ALTERNATIVE ACTIVITIES, EARLY INTERVENTION RESOURCES FOR INDIVIDUALS AT HIGH RISK FOR SUBSTANCE ABUSE AND CREATE PUBLIC AWARENESS OF THE NEED TO DRAW THE LINE OR REINFORCE APPROPRIATE COMMUNITY NORMS ON INAPPROPRIATE USE OF DRUGS.
