ROTARY INTERNATIONAL IS A WORLDWIDE SERVICE ORGANIZATION. ROTARY INTERNATIONAL DISTRICT 5030 IS COMPRISED OF 52 INDIVIDUAL CLUBS IN THE GREATER SEATTLE AREA.

MAJOR DISTRICT EVENTS. IN 2023-24, DISTRICT 5030 HELD A DISTRICT CONFERENCE IN OCTOBER 2023 AND A YEAR-END CELEBRATORY DINNER IN JUNE 2024. ALL ROTARY CLUB OFFICERS AND ROTARIANS WERE INVITED TO BOTH EVENTS. APPROXIMATELY 280 PEOPLE ATTENDED THE DISTRICT CONFERENCE EVENT AND 380 AT THE YEAR-END CELEBRATORY DINNER.
THE DISTRICT 5030 FOUNDATION COMMITTEE DISBURSES FUNDS RECEIVED FROM THE ROTARY FOUNDATION DDF (DISTRICT DESIGNATED FUNDS), IN THE FORM OF GRANTS TO ROTARY CLUBS IN DISTRICT 5030. THE CLUBS APPLY FOR THE DDF GRANTS. IN 2023-24, 37 GRANTS WERE MADE.
THE DISTRICT PROVIDES LEADERSHIP AND OTHER TRAINING TO CLUBS AND THEIR LEADERS, AS WELL AS TO DISTRICT LEVEL VOLUNTEERS. DISTRICT LEADERS ALSO ATTEND TRAINING SESSIONS AT THE ZONE AND INTERNATIONAL LEVEL. A WEB SITE IS UTILIZED AS A RESOURCE FOR CLUB LEADERS. IN ADDITION TO THIS, THE DISTRICT LEADERS PROVIDE LEADERSHIP THROUGH THEIR INVOLVEMENT WITH THE INDIVIDUAL CLUBS.
