WSBA JUSTICE AND DIVERSITY EFFORTS. THE WASHINGTON STATE BAR FOUNDATION GRANTS FUNDS TO THE WASHINGTON STATE BAR ASSOCIATION (WSBA) AND WSBA DESIGNATED PARTNERS IN SUPPORT OF WSBA'S EFFORTS TO ADVANCE DIVERSITY AND JUSTICE. FUNDS SUPPORT IMPLEMENTATION OF THE WSBA DIVERSITY & INCLUSION PLAN AND PUBLIC SERVICE PROGRAMS THAT ENGAGE LEGAL PROFESSIONALS IN PROVIDING FREE TO LOW-COST LEGAL ASSISTANCE.


PAYMENT OF POWERFUL COMMUNITIES PROJECT GRANTS, TO FUND PROJECTS THAT PROVIDE LEGAL AID IN COMMUNITIES THROUGHOUT WASHINGTON STATE. INCLUDES INTERNAL FUNDS TRANSFERS TO PAY GRANTS


ELDER LAW SCHOLARSHIP: THE FOUNDATION, IN COLLABORATION WITH THE WSBA ELDER LAW SECTION, AWARDS FUNDS ANNUALLY TO A LAW STUDENT FOR AN INTERNSHIP WITH A LEGAL NONPROFIT.


JUSTICE AND DIVERSITY OPPORTUNITIES FUND: THE FOUNDATION ALLOCATES FUNDS ANNUALLY FOR PURPOSES THAT WILL ENHANCE CREDIBILITY AND VISIBILITY IN THE EQUITY AND JUSTICE COMMUNITY.
