CATHOLIC SCHOOLS PHILANTHROPY WORKING GROUP - A MEMBERSHIP-BASED AFFINITY GROUP OF ROUGHLY 30 FOUNDATIONS AND DONORS THAT SUPPORT K-12 CATHOLIC EDUCATION INITIATIVES AND CATHOLIC SCHOOLS AS A PART OF THEIR GIVING PORTFOLIOS. THE WORKING GROUP PROVIDES A FORUM FOR MEMBERS TO NETWORK WITH EACH OTHER, LEARN ABOUT NATIONAL AND LOCAL INITATIVES, ADVOCATE FOR CATHOLIC SCHOOLS COLLECTIVELY, AND TO PROVIDE THE MEANS TO PROMOTE AND SUPPORT NATIONAL AND LOCAL PROJECTS.
BLACK PARENT AFTER SCHOOL STUDY- A PROJECT TO CONDUCT A STUDY TO IDENITIFY HOW 150 LOWER-INCOME AND WORKING-CLASS BLACK PARENTS LIVING IN PHOENIX DEFINE A QUALITY AFTER SHCOOL PROGRM FOR THEIR CHILDREN, AND THE ROLE THIS PROGRAM PLAYS IN BUILDING PERSONAL AGENCY FOR BLACK PARENTS THEMSELVES.
