MISSION IS TO REVITALIZE THE FOUNTAIN CREEK AND MONUMENT CREEK RIPARIAN CORRIDORS IN COLORADO SPRINGS, TO IDENTIFY FUNDING, AND TO POMOTE EDUCATION AND RESEARCH.

THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDED PRESENTATIONS TO LOCAL AND STATE GOVERNMENTAL ORGANIZATIONS AND OFFICIALS, CIVIC ORGANIZATIONS AND TO THE PUBLIC IN FORUMS ON THE COS CREEK PLAN PROJECT. THE ORGANIZATION MAINTAINED A WEBSITE FOR THE COS CREEK PLAN PROJECT, RECEIVED COMMENTS FROM THE PUBLIC AND RESPONDED TO THOSE COMMENTS. THE ORGANIZATION ACQUIRED THE INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS IN FOUNTAIN CREEK WATERSHED VISION AND IMPLEMENTATION PLAN (NOW REFERRED TO AS THE "COS CREEK PLAN PROJECT"). THE ORGANIZATION ENTERED INTO A TWENTY-YEAR COLLABORATIVE AGREEMENT WITH THE CITY OF COLORADO SPRINGS AND COLORADO SPRINGS UTILITIES TO ACCOMPLISH THE COS CREEK PLAN PROJECT. THE ORGANIZATION RETAINED A WELL-KNOWN AND RESPECTEDED LANDSCAPE ARCHTECTURAL FIRM AND SPECIFICALLY ITS PRINICIPAL TO PROVIDE PROJECT MANAGEMENT SERVICES AND TO WORK IN COLLABORATION WITH THE PROJECT MANAGERS APPOINTED BY THE CITY AND UTILITIES. THESE PROGRAM SERVICE ACCOMPLISHMENTS WERE ESSENTIAL STEPS TOWARDS THE GOAL OF IMPLEMENTING THE COS CREEK PLAN PROJECT OVER A 20-YEAR PERIOD.
