THE NENN FOUNDATION IS DEDICATED TO IMPROVING AND EXPANDING ACCESS TO EMERGENCY, LIFE-SAVING CARE FOR LARGE ANIMALS IN NEED. WE ARE CURRENTLY IN OUR INITIAL PHASE OF DEVELOPMENT WHILE FUNDING LIFE-SAVING PROCEDURES.WE ARE CURRENTLY FOCUSED ON PILOTING OUR WORK IN COMMUNITIES ACROSS SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA, WITH PLANS TO ACQUIRE LAND, FORMALIZE PARTNERSHIPS, AND BUILD OUR FLAGSHIP ANIMAL HOSPITAL IN VENTURA COUNTY DURING THE NEXT YEAR. THE ORGANIZATION ALSO OPERATES AS A TRAVELING VET TO PROVIDE CARE FOR LARGER ANIMALS. EDUCATION IS ALSO OFFERED TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC AND ANIMAL OWNERS. THE ORGANIZATION IS ENTIRELY SUPPORTED BY THE PUBLIC THROUGH DONATIONS, GRANTS, AND FUNDRAISERS. ANIMAL REHABILITATION: THERE ARE MANY ANIMALS THAT HAVE BEEN HARMED DUE TO THE CALIFORNIA WILDFIRES. THE NENN FOUNDATION WORKS TO NURSE THESE ANIMALS BACK TO HEALTH AND FINDS THEM A NEW HOME. ANIMAL DENTISTRY AND HEALTHCARE: ANIMAL TEETH ARE IMPORTANT TO KEEP HEALTHY. SOME ANIMALS DO NEED THEIR TEETH CHECKED MULTIPLE TIMES PER YEAR AND THIS IS ONE OF THE MANY SERVICES OF THE ORGANIZATION. VACCINATIONS AND EDUCATION ON THE PROPER INTERVALS OF VACCINATIONS ARE AVAILABLE. THE ORGANIZATION ALSO UNDERSTANDS THAT LOSING PETS IS EMOTIONAL. BECAUSE OF THIS, IN HOME EUTHANASIA IS AVAILABLE AS WELL. POT BELLY PIG: THE ORGANIZATION UNDERSTANDS THAT POT BELLY PIGS ARE EASILY STRESSED (ESPECIALLY WHEN TRANSPORTED). THE ORGANIZATION OFFERS IN-HOME VISITS TO POT BELLY PIG OWNERS TO MAKE THE VETERINARY PROCESS AS EASY AS POSSIBLE.
