Describe the Organization's Program Activity:

Part 3 - Line 4a

BUILDING A STRONGER FUTURE HAS A BIG-PICTURE GOAL OF IMPROVING PUBLIC UNDERSTANDING OF IMPORTANT CHALLENGES FACING HUMANITY. WE SUPPORT JOURNALISTS, SCHOLARS, POLICY RESEARCH, MEDIA OUTLETS, AND EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS. OUR PRIMARY FOCUS IS ON RISKS FROM EMERGENT TECHNOLOGY, SUCH AS PANDEMICS CAUSED BY BIOLOGICAL WEAPONS. BUT WE ALSO BELIEVE THAT A FLOURISHING SOCIETY REQUIRES FUNCTIONING INSTITUTIONS AND THE FREE FLOW OF IDEAS, SO WE INVEST IN A WIDE RANGE OF INDIVIDUALS AND ORGANIZATIONS.
