LORENZO'S HOUSE IS THE GLOBAL HUB OF SUPPORT FOR YOUNG PEOPLE AND THEIR FAMILIES AFFECTED BY YOUNGER-ONSET DEMENTIA. WE ARE A VIRTUAL, NONPROFIT SOCIAL IMPACT ORGANIZATION SERVING FAMILY MEMBERS, WITH A FOCUS ON YOUTH - IN 46 STATES AND 5 COUNTRIES THROUGH OUR 3 PILLAR PROGRAMS PROVIDED AT NO COST: MATCH, CLUBS AND SUMMIT.MATCH CONNECTS PEERS OF A SIMILAR PROFILE, WALKING A SIMILAR PATH, TO EXCHANGE TECHNIQUES, SHARE RESOURCES AND CURE ISOLATION. OUR MATCH CONNECTS YOUNG PEOPLE AND ADULTS WITH A SIMILAR PROFILE-AND ITS IMPACT RANGES FROM A SERIES OF TEXTS, TO SEVERAL CONVERSATIONS TO A LIFELONG FRIENDSHIP. CLUBS ARE OUR VIRTUAL SPACES TO SHARE COMMON STORIES, CONNECT TO RESOURCES AND FIND COMMUNITY. LIGHT CLUB IS A VIRTUAL HANGOUT FOR KIDS, 8 TO 30+ OF A PARENT WITH YOUNGER-ONSET DEMENTIA (YOD) TO FEEL UNDERSTOOD, SHARE COMMON STORIES, EXCHANGE MINDFULNESS PRACTICES & BUILD AN ALLIANCE. SHINE-ON IS A VIRTUAL SPACE FOR YOUTH WHOSE LOVED ONE/PERSON HAS PASSED-AND SEEKS TO CONNECT IN A SHARED EXPERIENCE. BRIGHT BRUNCH AND LIGHT LOUNGE ARE VIRTUAL SPACES FOR CAREPARTNER/SPOUSES TO FEEL UNDERSTOOD, SHARE COMMON STORIES, EXCHANGE RESOURCES AND CURE ISOLATION. MUSIC, MOVEMENT & COMMUNITY IS AN IN-PERSON INTERACTIVE EXPERIENCE IN CHICAGO WHERE MUSIC AND EXPRESSION IGNITE CONNECTION AND JOY. SUMMIT IS A FREE VIRTUAL WORLDWIDE EVENT THAT UNITES CHILDREN, TEENS AND YOUNG ADULTS OF A PARENT LIVING WITH, OR HAS LIVED WITH YOUNGER-ONSET DEMENTIA OF ANY FORM. AN INSPIRING DAY TOGETHER TO SHARE COMMON STORY, EXCHANGE CARER STRATEGIES, MOVE FORWARD ADVOCACY INITIATIVES AND BUILD COMMUNITY.
