PROGRAM SERVICE ACCOMPLISHMENTS: MOUSTACHE AWARENESS PROGRAM - ANNUALLY A COMMUNITY OF MOUSTACHE "GROWERS" RAISE MONEY FOR A LOCAL CHILDRENS CHARITY. FOR 30 DAYS, THE CHAPTERS GROWERS ALL WORK TIRELESSLY TO GROW AND DISPLAY THEIR BEAUTIFUL MOUSTACHES. WHEN PARTICIPANTS ARE ASKED ABOUT THEIR MOUSTACHES, THEY CAN USE THAT OPPORTUNITY TO RAISE AWARENESS AND MONEY FOR DESERVING KIDS. DURING THE "GROWING SEASON," MOUSTACHES FOR KIDS HOSTS WEEKLY CHECKPOINT EVENTS TO ESTABLISH COMMUNITY, ENCOURAGE EACH OTHER AND PROVIDE TIPS FOR MAXIMIZING DONOR POTENTIAL. AT THE END OF THE SEASON, ALL FUNDS RAISED ARE DISTRIBUTED TO A DESERVING CHILDRENS CHARITY. IN 2023 $90,000 WAS RAISED AND DISTRIBUTED.
