TO SERVE THE HOLISTIC NEEDS OF IMMIGRANTS, REFUGEES, AND MAINSTREAM COMMUNITY MEMBERS, AND TO FOSTER UNDERSTANDING, COMPASSION, AND COMMUNICATION BETWEEN OREGON-ESTABLISHED COMMUNITIES AND NEW ARRIVALS.

IN 2023 ACCENT NETWORK PROVIDED DIGITAL SKILLS TRAINING AND SUPPORT TO HELP IMMIGRANTS SECURE RELIABLE INTERNET ACCESS. THIS INITIATIVE AIMS TO IMPROVE THEIR ECONOMIC OPPORTUNITIES BY ENABLING THEM TO USE TECHNOLOGY EFFECTIVELY.


ACCENT NETWORK HOSTED A MULTICULTURAL GIFT FAIR, OFFERING FREE SPACE TO SMALL BUSINESSES RUN BY IMMIGRANTS. OVER 30 ENTREPRENEURS AND IMMIGRANT-OWNED SMALL BUSINESSES TOOK PART IN THE EVENT.


ACCENT NETWORK PROVIDED THE KNOWLEDGE AND TRAINING TO PRODUCE SHORT DOCUMENTARY FILMS AND TEACH IMMIGRANTS HOW TO OPERATE A CAMERA, SOUND, AND LIGHTING. IMMIGRANTS LEARNED TO CONDUCT INTERVIEWS, ASK QUESTIONS, AND TURN PERSONAL STORIES INTO COHERENT NARRATIVES.


IN 2023, ACCENT NETWORK REMAINED COMMITTED TO ITS EFFORTS IN EDUCATION AND OUTREACH REGARDING VACCINATION. OUR NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION ALSO HOSTED NUMEROUS VACCINE EVENTS. THROUGH THESE ACTIVITIES, WE SUCCESSFULLY REACHED OVER 15,000 IMMIGRANTS AND REFUGEES.
