THE ORGANIZATION IS A COMMUNITY-BASED MUTUAL-AID NONPROFIT, PROVIDING SUPPLIES AND SUPPORT TO PEOPLE EXPERIENCING HOMELESSNESS AND ADVOCATING FOR COMPASSIONATE, JUST, AND COLLABORATIVE SOLUTIONS TO HOMELESSNESS.

IN FEBRUARY OF 2022, THE ORGANIZATION LAUNCHED THE RV PROGRAM WHICH IS CURRENTLY BEING USED TO CREATE A CITYWIDE PROTOCAL FOR ENGAGING VEHICLE DWELLERS. DURING THE YEAR THE ORGANIZATION ASSISTED OVER 100 INDIVIDUALS.


THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES LUNCHES AND HYGIENE PRODUCTS, TO INDIVIDUALS EXPERIENCING HOMELESSNESS. WVHY ORGANIZES ONE OF THE LARGEST VOLUNTEER OUTREACH IN THE SAN FERNANDO VALLEY AND SERVED OVER 1,000 INDIVIDUALS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR.
