IS A NON-PROFIT, PUBLIC INTEREST JOURNALISM CORPORATION FORMED IN OCTOBER 2020 BY BILL GERTZ, AN AWARD-WINNING JOURNALIST WITH MORE THAN 35 YEARS EXPERIENCE. THE PROJECT IS AN INVESTIGATIVE REPORTING PROGRAM FOCUSING ON A WIDE RANGE OF NATIONAL SECURITY AFFAIRS TOPICS FOR ON THE WEBSITE THE GERTZ FILE (GERTZFILE.COM). THE PROJECT USES ITS REPORTING AND INVESTIGATIVE ANALYSIS TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC ON CHALLENGES AND THREATS TO THE NATIONAL SECURITY FACED BY THE UNITED STATES.

IT ALSO PRODUCES DOCUMENTARY FILMS, BOTH SHORT AND LONG, HIGHLIGHTING THE RESULTS OF ITS INVESTIGATIONS. THE FUNDAMENTAL GUIDING PRINCIPLE OF THE GERTZ FILE INVESTIGATIVE REPORTING PROJECT IS TO PROVIDE ACCURATE NEWS AND INFORMATION TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC THAT IS UNAVAILABLE FROM OTHER NEWS OUTLETS.
