TO PROVIDE SUPPORT TO THEIR SIBLINGS AND FAMILIES BY HELPING THEM REACH THEIR GOALS AND EXPANDING SOCIAL NETWORKS AND LIFE EXPERIENCES, FOLLOWED BY DEVELOPING CAREER SKILLS TO SUSTAIN THEIR INDIVIDUAL PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT. ALSO, TO GIVE THE YOUTH THE TOOLS AND EDUCATION THEY NEED TO RESTORE THEMSELVES TO BE ABLE TO MAINTAIN HEALTHY RELATIONSHIPS.

CAL-VIP GRANT PROVIDE SERVICES AND PROGRAMS TO SCHOOL-AGE YOUTH, AGES 6-18, AND YOUNG ADULTS, AGES 19-24, WHO DEMONSTRATE AT-RISK DELIQUENT BEHAVIOR AND/OR EXPERIENCE OTHER ISSUES SUCH AS LACK OF ACCESS TO RESOURCES TO BE HEALTHY, SAFE, AND THRIVE, NEGATIVE HOME DYNAMICS, BEHAVIORIAL HEALTH CONCERNS, OR SUBSTANCE ABUSE, THAT PLACE THEM AT RISK OF ENTERING OR CONTINUING IN THE JUVENILE JUSTICE SYSTEM. PROVIDE CASE MANAGEMENT, COMPREHENSIVE LIFE PLANNING, FAMILY AND GROUP MEETING, COMMUNITY VIOLENCE INTERRUPTION, ON- CAMPUS INTERVENTION, AND COMMUNITY SERVICE PROJECTS.
