THE ARTS CONSORTIUM MARKETED AND SUPPORTED THE BUILDOUT OF A '2023 MOUNT VERNON PRESENTS SEASON' OF COMMUNITY ARTS AND ENTERTAINMENT EVENTS. THROUGH FACILITATION OF QUARTERLY LOCAL ART PARTNER MEETINGS, PLANNING AND COLLABORATION ON A SHARED COMMUNITY EVENTS PRODUCTION CALENDAR WAS ACHIEVED, PROVIDING MAXIMIZATION OF MARKETING, ADMINISTRATION, TECHNICAL AND OTHER PRODUCTION RESOURCES FOR THE COMMUNITY. STAFF SUPPORTED 61 PRODUCTIONS AND PUBLIC EVENTS SPANNING 150 PRODUCTION DAYS. MORE THAN 11,500 TICKET SALES WERE MANAGED BY BOX OFFICE STAFF AND SYSTEMS REPRESENTING $345,000 IN TICKET SALES. MVAC STAFF CONTRIBUTED 3,000 HOURS TO SUPPORT PARTNER ORGANIZATIONS IN ADDITION TO CONTRACTED SERVICES. IN 2023, 49% OF AUDIENCE MEMBERS CAME FROM OUTSIDE OF KNOX COUNTY AND 28% OF MAJOR SHOW BUDGETS WERE SPENT IN COUNTY, PROVIDING LOCAL COMMUNITY REINVESTMENT.
