PUBLIC PRESSURE CAMPAIGNS: BY SHINING A SPOTLIGHT ON THE ISSUE AT HAND, JDF BRINGS SIGNIFICANT PUBLIC PRESSURE AND ACCOUNTABILITY TO ABUSERS, THEIR ENABLERS, AND GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS, COMPELLING THEM TO TAKE ACTION. JDF EDUCATES LEGISLATORS, CORPORATIONS, AND THE PUBLIC IN ORDER TO ADVOCATE FOR THE ADOPTION OF LAWS AND POLICIES BOTH DOMESTICALLY AND INTERNATIONALLY THAT PREVENT SEX TRAFFICKING, ONLINE CHILD SEXUAL ABUSE, AND IMAGE-BASED SEXUAL ABUSE (IBSA).
LITIGATION AND PLAINTIFF SUPPORT: JDF SUPPORTS CIVIL LITIGATION WITH FUNDING WHERE NEEDED AND HELPS SURVIVORS ACCESS THE COSTLY AND HISTORICALLY UNEQUAL LEGAL SYSTEM BY SUPPORTING THEIR PURSUIT OF JUSTICE HOLISTICALLY, INCLUDING ACCESS TO WRAPAROUND SERVICES SUCH AS THERAPY. JDF RAISED AN ADDITIONAL $598,800 IN 2022 THAT WENT DIRECTLY TO FIRMS FOR STRATEGIC LITIGATION AND PLAINTIFF SUPPORT, MAKING THE TOTAL PROGRAM EXPENSE $745,395, AND THE TOTAL RAISED BY AND FOR JDF'S WORK FOR PART I, LINE 8: $1,140,755.
