THIS WAS DONE THROUGH IN PERSON LUNCH & LEARNS, JOB SHADOWING, TOURS, COOP JOBS AND CAREER EXPOS. -OVER 60 HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS RECEIVED JOB READINESS AND LEAN SIX SIGMA YELLOW BELT TRAINING. -OVER 70 ADULTS FROM COMMUNITY PROGRAMS RECEIVED JOB READINESS AND LEAN SIX SIGMA YELLOW BELT TRAINING. -BUSINESS PARTNERS PARTICIPATED IN HIRING EVENTS AT HIGH SCHOOLS AND LIBRARIES AND SPONSORED THEIR OWN HIRING EVENTS. -WE DEVELOPED TRANSPORTATION OPTIONS THAT WILL HELP ADULTS AND STUDENTS GET TO AND FROM JOBS. THIS IS A SIGNIFICANT BARRIER FOR PEOPLE LIVING IN POVERTY. -WE CREATED PAID, SUMMER TEACHER EXTERNSHIPS AT MEMBER COMPANIES TO EXPOSE THEM TO THE GREAT PAYING JOBS AND CAREERS IN SUPPLY CHAIN, CONSTRUCTION AND MANUFACTURING.-WE CREATED AN ACADEMY PROGRAM THAT WILL ALLOW YOUTH AND ADULTS GET INDUSTRY ACCEDITED TRAINING SO THEY ARE BETTER PREPARED FOR JOBS.
