FUNDS DONATED TO THE FRIENDS FOUNDATION SUPPORT: RENOVATIONS AND IMPROVEMENTS TO LIBRARY BRANCHES; THE PURCHASE OF BOOKS, MATERIALS AND RESOURCES FOR CIRCULATION; PROGRAMMING FOR ALL AGES; THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE WESTERN HISTORY AND OTHER SPECIAL COLLECTIONS; AN EMERGENCY RELIEF FUND FOR LIBRARY STAFF; SERVICES FOR REFUGEES AND IMMIGRANTS; ADVOCACY EFFORTS; AND MORE.
