WGU ADVANCEMENT SUPPORTS THE EDUCATIONAL AND CHARITABLE PURPOSES OF WESTERN GOVERNORS UNIVERSITY AND AFFILIATES BY ENGAGING IN FUND-RAISING ACTIVITIES, INCLUDING IDENTIFYING OPPORTUNITIES FOR FUNDED RESEARCH PROJECTS, BUILDING ALUMNI OUTREACH, SOLICITING SUPPORT FROM GOVERNMENT AGENCIES AND PRIVATE FOUNDATIONS. ALL FUNDS RAISED BY CHARITABLE CONTRIBUTION WERE USED FOR STUDENT SCHOLARSHIPS AND TRANSFORMING EDUCATION.
