THE MISSION OF THE GEORGIA PROFESSIONAL SPORTS INTEGRITY ALLIANCE (GPSIA) IS TO EDUCATE AND ADVOCATE FOR THE LEGALIZATION OF MOBILE AND ONLINE WAGERING IN THE STATE OF GEORGIA.

DURING 2021, GPSIA SUCCESSFULLY PROMOTED AND MOVED FORWARD PROPOSED LEGISLATION IN THE GEORGIA GENERAL ASSEMBLY WHICH PROVIDES FOR LEGALIZATION OF INTRASTATE MOBILE SPORTS GAMBLING WHILE INCORPORATING DETAILED, SIGNIFICANT PROVISIONS SAFEGUARDING THE INTEGRITY OF PROFESSIONAL SPORTS IN GEORGIA. THESE EFFORTS LED TO THE PROMOTED BILL RECEIVING MULTIPLE HEARINGS IN APPROPRIATE COMMITTEES OF THE GEORGIA SENATE AND RECEIVING A POSITIVE VOTE OUT OF COMMITTEE TO THE GEORGIA SENATE FOR CONSIDERATION. ALL REVISIONS AND MODIFICATIONS TO THE PROPOSED LEGISLATION PRESERVED ALL ITEMS DIRECTED AT PROTECTING THE INTEGRITY OF PROFESSIONAL SPORTS IN GEORGIA. ALL OF THE ORGANIZATION'S FUNDS HAD BEEN SPENT FOR THEIR INTENDED PURPOSE BY YEAR END AND THE ORGANIZATION OFFICIALLY FILED FOR DISSOLUTION WITH THE GEORGIA SECRETARY OF STATE'S OFFICE IN NOVEMBER 2022.
