RMIAN WORKS TO ENSURE JUSTICE FOR ALL, BY PROVIDING FREE IMMIGRATION LEGAL AND SOCIAL SERVICES TO INDIVIDUALS IN CIVIL IMMIGRATION DETENTION, AND TO CHILDREN AND FAMILIES, IN COLORADO.

IN SUM, IN 2021, RMIAN PROVIDED 143 "KNOW-YOUR-RIGHTS" PRESENTATIONS TO 1,970 INDIVIDUALS IN CIVIL IMMIGRATION DETENTION IN COLORADO, CONDUCTED 1,104 INDIVIDUAL INTAKES, AND PROVIDED 140 INDIVIDUALIZED AND IN-DEPTH FOLLOW-UP SESSIONS TO INDIVIDUALS IN IMMIGRATION DETENTION. RMIAN STAFF ATTORNEYS REPRESENTED 177 CLIENTS IN IMMIGRATION DETENTION, AND RMIAN REFERRED 344 CLIENTS' DETENTION CASES TO ITS NETWORK OF VOLUNTEER ATTORNEYS. RMIAN PROVIDED HOLISTIC SUPPORT TO 108 CLIENTS THROUGH ITS SOCIAL SERVICE PROJECT. IN 2021, RMIAN'S CHILDREN'S PROGRAM DIRECTLY REPRESENTED 584 CHILDREN AND CONDUCTED 847 INTAKES AND CONSULTATIONS. RMIAN'S CHILDREN'S PROGRAM REFERRED 102 CLIENTS' CASES TO VOLUNTEER ATTORNEYS. RMIAN'S CHILDREN'S PROGRAM CONDUCTED 58 KNOW-YOUR-RIGHTS PRESENTATIONS TO 240 INDIVIDUALS AT THE DENVER IMMIGRATION COURT. RMIAN ADDITIONALLY PROVIDED 27 KNOW-YOUR RIGHTS PRESENTATIONS TO 127 CHILDREN AT THE OFFICE OF REFUGEE RESETTLEMENT DETENTION CENTER. FINALLY, RMIAN GAVE COMMUNITY PRESENTATIONS TO OVER 2,140 COMMUNITY MEMBERS.
