MOVIMIENTO PODER, FORMERLY PADRES UNIDOS, INC. (THE ORGANIZATION) IS A COLORADO NON-PROFIT THAT WAS FORMED IN 1991 TO EMPOWER LOW-INCOME STUDENTS AND PARENTS FROM DENVER PUBLIC SCHOOLS. IN 2021, THE ORGANIZATION CHANGED ITS NAME AND MADE LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT ITS CORE FOCUS TO EMPOWER MEMBERS TO LEAD CHANGE IN THEIR SCHOOLS, COMMUNITY AND IN THEIR OWN LIVES.
