BLUEDOOR FACILITATES EDUCATORS THAT PARTNER WITH CHARTER SCHOOLS TO PROVIDE EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES TO STUDENTS IN OUR AREA. WE HAD OVER 350 STUDENTS ENROLL IN CLASSES AND ACTIVITIES OUR FIRST YEAR. WE ARE FULFILLING A HUGE NEED IN OUR COMMUNITY BY PROVIDING FAMILIES, THAT USE AN INDEPENDENT-STUDY CHARTER SCHOOL, A PLACE TO RECEIVE EXCELLENT ACADEMIC INSTRUCTION THAT ALIGN WITH EDUCATIONAL STANDARDS IN A SAFE AND FUN ENVIRONMENT. WE SERVE WHOLE FAMILIES BY OFFERING CLASSES TO TK-12TH GRADE STUDENTS SIMULTANEOUSLY AND A FORUM FOR PARENTS TO BE INVOLVED.

THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDED QUALITY ACADEMIC AND ENRICHMENT OPPORTUNITIES TO STUDENTS IN PLACER AND SURROUNDING COUNTIES. APPROXIMATELY 450 STUDENT IN K-12TH GRADE PARTICIPATED IN BLUEDOOR'S PROGRAM; 120 STUDENTS ATTENDED SOCIAL EVENTS THAT BUILD SELF WORTH AND COMMUNITY MINDEDNESS. FAMILIES REPORTED MARKED IMPROVEMENT IN STUDENT ACADEMIC PERFORMANCE AND SOCIAL AND MENTAL HEALTH AFTER ATTENDING BLUEDOOR PROGRAMS. BLUEDOOR CONTINUES TO BUILD RELATIONSHIPS WITH THE GREATER COMMUNITY TO GIVE MORE OPPORTUNITY TO STUDENTS LIKE CONNECTIONS WITH AUSD TO PROCURE A LARGER FACILITY. A PARTNERSHIP WITH THE NON-PROFIT B-UNBOUND TO CREATE OPPORTUNITIES IN MENTORSHIPS AND INTERNSHIPS FOR 7TH-11THGRADE STUDENTS.
