IN THIS FINANCIAL YEAR, WE SERVED 2,943 YOUNG WOMEN AND GIRLS, OVER 70% OF COLOR, RESULTING IN OVER 40,000 LEARNING HOURS AND 30,000 CURRICULUM ACTIVITIES TOWARDS THEIR BUSINESS PLANS AND VENTURES. APPROXIMATELY 95% OF STUDENTS WERE UNDERWRITTEN WITH THE SUPPORT OF FUNDERS. VENTURES SPAN INDUSTRIES INCLUDING CONSUMER PRODUCTS, HEALTH, RETAIL, ENVIRONMENT, SERVICE AND TECH WITH 50% FOCUSED ON STEM. PROGRAMMING CONTINUED TO PRODUCE KEY WORK READINESS OUTCOMES IN THESE YOUNG WOMEN INCLUDING: 85% GRADS REPORTING IMPROVED LEADERSHIP CONFIDENCE. LONGER-TERM OUTCOMES INCLUDE 98% REPORT GWI PROGRAM IMPROVED COLLEGE ADMISSIONS AND 95% EXPERIENCE INCREASED CONFIDENCE.
