WE ARE COMMITTED TO SUPPORTING MEDICAL RESEARCH RELATED TO ALZHEIMERS DISEASE & OTHER DEMENTIAS. WE ARE DRIVING AWARENESS & FUNDRAISING TO SUPPORT GLOBALLY COLLABORATIVE WORK BY NATIONAL INSTITUTE ON AGING (NIA)-DESIGNATED ALZHEIMERS DISEASE RESEARCH CENTERS THROUGHOUT THE US.

DUE TO THE PANDEMIC, DAUGHTERS AGAINST ALZHEIMERS WAS UNABLE TO HOST AN IN-PERSON 2021 FUNDRAISING EVENT. DESPITE THIS, THE ORGANIZATION CONTINUED ITS FUNDRAISING EFFORTS DIGITALLY WITH THEIR VIRTUAL BATTLE FOR THE BRAIN REMIX CAMPAIGN, WHICH WAS BROADCAST ON MULTIPLE SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORMS. THE ORGANIZATION WAS MOREOVER ABLE TO MOVE FORWARD WITH PREPARATIONS IN HOSTING A 2022 FUNDRAISER, AS WELL AS GRANT $100,000 TO EMORYS GOIZUETA ALZHEIMERS DISEASE RESEARCH CENTER. FINANCIAL SUPPORT FOR THE ORGANIZATION REMAINED STRONG IN 2021 - SIGNIFICANT CONTRIBUTIONS WERE MADE IN 2021 FOR THE 2022 FUNDRAISER AS REFLECTED IN THE YEAR END DEFERRED REVENUE ACCOUNT BALANCE.
