TO STEWARD THE GAYLORD BUILDING, A NATIONAL TRUST HISTORIC SITE, AND ALL OF ITS PROPERTY IN ORDER TO FOSTER AN APPRECIATION OF CULTURAL HERITAGE AND HISTORIC PRESERVATION; AND PROVIDE EDUCATIONAL AND CULTURAL HERITAGE PROGRAMMING, OPPORTUNITIES AND EXPERIENCES TO THE COMMUNITY OF LOCKPORT, ILLINOIS, AND THE GENERAL PUBLIC.
