TO PROVIDE FREE IMMIGRATION LEGAL SERVICES WORKSHOPS THAT ASSIST INDIVIDUALS WITH APPLICATION ASSISTANCE AND ATTORNEY CONSULTATIONS.

CVIIC HELPS IMMIGRANT FAMILIES WITH ACCESS TO NONPROFIT IMMIGRATION LEGAL SERVICES AND TRUSTWOTHY INFORMATION WHILE ALSO CONTRIBUTING TO THE IMPROVEMENT OF THE REGIONAL ORGANIZATIONAL CAPACITY TO SERVE IMMIGRANTS. THE ORGANIZATION FOLLOWS A MODEL OF REGIONAL COORDINATION AND COLLABORATION. IN 2021, THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDED 19 FREE IMMIGRANTION LEGAL SERVICES WORKSHIPS SERVING A TOTAL OF 714 CLIENTS. THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDED 1,836 CLIENTS WITH IMMIGRATION SCREENINGS AND APPLICATION ASSISTANCE.


CVIIC HELPED LEAD REGIONAL CENSUS COLLABORATIVE EFFORTS INVOLVING NONPROFIT, PUBLIC, AND PRIVATE SECTOR REPRESENTATIVES. COLLABORATION EFFORTS WITH THESE PARTNERS ALLOWS THE ORGANIZATION TO COORDINATE REGIONAL EFFORTS AND OFFER TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES TO CARRY OUT COMMUNITY EDUCATION AND OUTREACH ACTIVITIES. WORK WITH THE PUBLIC INCLUDED THE CO-SPONSORSHIP OF A REGIONAL CONVENING THAT ANALYZED THE RESULTS OF THE PROCESS IN THE CENTRAL VALLEY.


CVIIC LEAD A REGIONAL HEALTH TASK FORCE AND CARRY OUT COMMUNITY EDUCATION ACTIVITIES AND INFORMATION CAMPAIGNED. IN 2021, THE HEALTH TASK FORCE OFFERED 3 MEETINGS AND 7 TRAININGS TO REGIONAL PARTNERS. A TOAL OF 207 INDIVIDUALS WERE SERVED THROUGH THE TRAININGS. IN EDUCATION AND OUTREACH, THE ORGANIZATION ENGAGED IN A 119 IN-PERSON OUTREACH EVENT, HELD 48 FACEBOOK LIVE EVENTS AND LAUNCHED AN EMAIL NEWSLETTER CAMPAIGN THAT REACHED ALL OVER THE CENTRAL VALLEY. THE ORGANIZATION ALSO DISTRIBUTED EMERGENCY COVID-19 EQUIPMENT AND INFORMATION.
