DURING 2022, VVHC WAS ABLE TO CONTINUE TO IMPROVE AND OPERATE OUR TRANSITION CENTER EMERGENCY SHELTER 7 DAYS A WEEK, WHILE OBTAINING GRANT FUNDS TO PURCHASE OUR CURRENT BUILDING AS WELL AS CONSTRUCT A SEPARATE TRANSITIONAL HOUSING COMPLEX. SMALLER LOCAL AND FOUNDATION GRANTS WERE OBTAINED IN ORDER TO BE ABLE TO PROVIDE OPERATING FUNDS FOR THE SHELTER PROGRAM, SUPPLEMENTED BY DONATIONS.
