AMDSO WAS THE VOICE OF REUSABLE MEDICAL DEVICES AGAINST THE UNNECESSARY REGULATORY BURDEN OF MEDICAL DEVICE SERVICING SAFETY AND ACCOUNTABILITY ACT (H.R. 2118). PROMOTED ISOS VOLUNTARY EFFORTS TO ENSURE HIGH QUALITY REPAIRS, MAINTAIN ORIGINAL FUNCTION AND UNWAVERING COMMITMENT TO PATIENT SAFETY TO THE FDA AS THEY COLLECTED INFORMATION FOR THEIR REPORT ON QUALITY, SAFETY AND EFFECTIVENESS. AMDSO HAS CONTRIBUTED TO VARIOUS EFFORTS TO IMPROVE QUALITY SYSTEM PRINCIPLES ADOPTION AND IMPLEMENTATION. DEFENDED AGAINST MISPERCEPTIONS INTRODUCED IN THE MARKETPLACE THAT CAN MISLEAD HEALTHCARE PROVIDERS, CAUSING THEM TO QUESTION HOW AND WHETHER THE SERVICES OF ISOS PROVIDE CAN MEET THEIR PARTICULAR NEEDS.
