NUTRITION: ADMINISTERS A MEALS-ON-WHEELS PROGRAM TO DELIVER MEALS TO SHUT-INS AND ALSO PROVIDES MEALS AT A CENTER FOR LOW-INCOME INDIVIDUALS. OUTREACH: REACHING OUT TO NEW ISOLATED SENIORS WITH SPECIAL EMPHASIS ON FINDING LOW-INCOME HIDDEN ELDERLY - THOSE WITH MULTIPLE NEEDS. HOMEMAKER: IN-HOME ASSISTANCE WITH TASKS OF DAILY LIVING FOR OLDER INDIVIDUALS FOR WHOM THE TASKS ARE TOO DIFFICULT OR WHO LACK SUPPORT OF FAMILY AND FRIENDS. THIS SERVICE CAN PREVENT OR DELAY PREMATURE INSTITUTIONALIZATION. TRANSPORTATION: TRANSPORTING INDIVIDUALS 60 YEARS OR OLDER TO AND FROM ACTIVITIES AND SERVICES THAT ARE AVAILABLE FOR SENIOR CITIZENS. CHORE SERVICE: PROVIDES MINOR HOUSEHOLD REPAIRS. ECHO-TELEPHONE REASSURANCE: DAILY TELEPHONE CALLS TO SENIOR CITIZENS CHECKING ON THEM TO SEE THAT THEY ARE WELL OR IF IN NEED OF SOME ASSISTANCE AND TO PROVIDE INFORMATION OF PROGRAMS THAT MAY BE OF HELP IN THEIR HOMES.


WEATHERIZATION: WEATHERIZATION FOR LOW-INCOME FAMILIES REDUCING ENERGY CONSUMPTION BY INNOVATIVE APPROACHES TO CONSERVE ENERGY.
