ENYE IS A NON PROFIT COMMITTED TO EMPOWERING ASPIRING ENGINEERS AND ENTREPRENEURS IN THE DEVELOPING COUNTRY OF NIGERIA. OUR PROGRAM PAIRS THESE TWO GROUPS TOGETHER IN A FULL SCHOLARSHIP BASED PROGRAM. ENYE PROVIDES TECHNICAL AND BUSINESS MENTORSHIP WHILE THEY DEVELOP AN MVP SOFTWARE APPLICATION. AT THE END OF EACH PROGRAM THE ENGINEERS ARE PLACED INTO SECURED EMPLOYMENT, USUALLY AT EACH ENTREPRENEURS COMPANY. IN THIS WAY WE ARE CREATING A COMMERCE AND DIGITAL INFRASTRUCTURE ENGINE TO HELP RAISE THE STANDARD OF LIVING IN DEVELOPING COUNTRIES LIKE NIGERIA.

ENYE'S 2020 PROGRAM SERVICE FEATURED "COHORT 4 AND OUR FIRST HACKATHON. COHORT 4 OF OUR ENGINEERING CAREER ACCELERATOR RECEIVED 645 APPLICANTS. 24 OF THE TOP APPLICANTS WERE ACCEPTED; 19 WERE ABLE TO COMPLETE THE PROGRAM. ALL 19 WERE PLACED AT COMPANIES, FURTHERING THEIR CAREER. ADDITIONALLY WE PILOTED OUR FOUNDERS PROGRAM IN WHICH THE ENGINEERS WERE TEAMED WITH ASPIRING ENTREPRENEURS. WE ALSO HOSTED OUR FIRST HACKATHON, DESPITE THE CHALLENGES POISED FROM CORONAVIRUS, IT WAS A GOOD EXPERIENCE FOR THE ENGINEERS WHO APPEARED WITH THE APPROPRIATE PPE.
