ANIMAL CARE. INCLUDES VETERINARY CARE & EQUIPMENT, MEDICINE, GROOMING, FEED, BEDDING, HOUSING, AND ENRICHMENT FOR THE ANIMALS. THIS FUND ENSURES HIGH LEVEL CARE FOR OVER 90 RESCUED ANIMAL RESIDENTS. THE ANIMALS ACT AS AMBASSADORS FOR OTHERS OF THEIR SPECIES AND PARTICIPATE IN EDUCATIONAL TOURS OF THE SANCTUARY. FARM ANIMAL REFUGE WELCOMED OVER 1000 GUESTS IN 2023.
EDUCATION. INCLUDES THE LEAP EDUCATION PROGRAM FOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS AND EDUCATIONAL LEAFLETS AND VIDEOS. LEAP: IS A COMPASSIONATE ALTERNATIVE TO FFA HELD AT THE SANCTUARY. THIS CIRICULUM IS OFFERED FREE OF CHARGE TO HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS. EDUCATIONAL VIDEOS INCLUDE BOTH K-4 AND HIGHSCHOOL VIRTUAL FIELD TRIPS. THESE VIDEOS HAVE REACHED OVER 2,00 STUDENTS AND ARE OFFERED FREE OF CHARGE. IN 2024, WE DEVELOPED A LEAFLET AND WILL BE DISTRIBUTING IT VIA VOLUNTEERS NATIONWIDE IN 2024.
