SEEK TO BUILD AND NURTURE AN EXPANDED COMMUNITY OF CHARITABLE LIVING. SUPPORT GRASSROOTS LEVEL OUTREACH TO YOUTH, YOUNG FAMILIES, ADULTS, AND OTHER CHARITABLE ORGANIZATIONS WITH SIMILAR AIMS. CREATIVE SHARING OF SIGNIFICANT STORIES OF CHARITABLE LIFE AS A CATALYST FOR INSPIRING INCREASED ENGAGEMENT IN ACTS OF CHARITY BY RICH AND POOR, RELIGIOUS AND NON-RELIGIOUS, THROUGHOUT THE WIDER COMMUNITY.

Part 3 - Line 4a

BACKPACK PROGRAM - VOLUNTEERS SECURE AND PACK FOOD FOR CHILDREN TO TAKE HOME FROM SCHOOL EACH FRIDAY. FOCUS IS ALWAYS ON NUTRITIOUS, KID-FRIENDLY, AND EASY-TO-PREPARE FOOD. IN SOLIDARITY WITH THE SCHOOL DISTRICTS, WILD BIRD CHARITY SECURED ENOUGH FOOD TO FEED 350 WHATCOM COUNTY CHILDREN AND YOUTH 6 MEALS EVERY WEEKEND FOR MORE THAN 9 MONTHS. DONOR CONTRIBUTIONS PROVIDED MORE THAN 90,000 MEALS TO FAMILIES SUFFERING FOOD INSECURITY DURING 2021.


WILD BIRD CHARITY BOUTIQUE - STOREFRONT IN BLAINE, WASHINGTON SELLING GENTLY-USED CLOTHING, ACCESSORIES, AND HOUSEHOLD DECOR ITEMS. PROCEEDS GO TOWARDS SUPPPORTING THE PROGRAMS AND OPERATIONS OF WILD BIRD CHARITY.
