FUTUREINDESIGN'S TECHNOLOGY FOCUSED WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM FOCUSES ON FOUR KEY OUTCOMES TO ASSIST UNDERREPRESENTED STUDENTS IN GAINING UPWARD MOBILITY IN UTAH'S TECHNOLOGY INDUSTRY. THESE OUTCOMES INCLUDE: 1) NEW, PART-TIME EMPLOYMENT, 2) COLLEGE CREDITS/NATIONAL CERTIFICATION, 3) JOB TRAINING STIPEND/INDUSTRY-LEVEL COMPUTER, AND 4) CREATION OF PROFESSIONAL PORTFOLIOS. THE YOUNG ADULT CAREER READINESS PROGRAM PARTICIPANTS COMPLETE THE PROGRAM WITH NO COLLEGE DEBT, A MARKETABLE RESUME, A PORTFOLIO DEMONSTRATING COMPETENCY, AND INDUSTRY CERTIFICATIONS AND COLLEGE CREDIT.
