THE MISSION OF THE ORGANIZATION IS TO PROVIDE EDUCATION TO PUBLIC PENSION TRUSTEES IN THE STATE OF GEORGIA. THIS IS PRIMARILY DONE THROUGH AN ANNUAL TRUSTEE SCHOOL AND AN EDUCATIONAL CONFERENCE

CONFERENCES ARE THE BIGGEST SERVICE REVENUE ACCOMPLISHMENT. THE ORGANIZATION HELD AN ANNUAL CONFERENCE AT CALLAWAY GARDENS, GA IN SEPTEMBER OF 2021, THE FIRST IN-PERSON CONFERENCE SINCE FALL 2019 DUE TO THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC. OVER 250 PEOPLE ATTENDED THE CONFERENCE, INCLUDING OVER 125 TRUSTEES. IT WAS THE LARGEST CONFERENCE THE ORGANIZATION HAD HELD TO DATE. TOWARD THE END OF THE YEAR, MEMBERS ALSO STARTED PAYING ADVANCE REGISTRATION FOR THE ASSOCIATION'S 2022 CONFERENCES.
GAPPT HELD A SPECIAL EVENT AT A MAJOR LEAGUE BASEBALL VENUE (ATLANTA BRAVES) AS A "RE-START" TO FACE-TO-FACE INTERACTIONS BETWEEN MEMBERS AND CONSULTANTS. OVER 80 MEMBERS ATTENDED.
