CONTINUED SERVING SENIORS EVEN THOUGH ONSITE PROGRAMS AND ACTIVITIES WERE LIMITED BY THE COVID-19 VIRUS AND VARIANTS. WE DELIVERED MORE THAN 8000 LUNCHES IN 2021. OF THE THOUSANDS OF LUNCHES DELIVERED, 35% WERE WITHOUT CHARGE. ENGAGED WITH THE SENIOR COMMUNITY BY OFFERING 10-15 ONLINE ACTIVITIES AND PROGRAMS EACH WEEK ON ZOOM. OFFERED WEEKLY EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES THROUGH ONLINE PROGRAMS ON INTERESTING AND RELEVANT TOPICS. EXPERIENCED A DRAMATIC UPTICK IN HELP FROM EXISTING AND NEW VOLUNTEERS, WHO TOGETHER CONTRIBUTED 3700 HOURS TO THE LUNCH DELIVERY AND OTHER PROGRAMS. ASSISTED OVER 200 SENIORS HAVING DIFFICULTY ACCESSING ONLINE VACCINATION APPOINTMENTS AND REGISTERED THEM FOR THEIR FIRST TWO VACCINATION APPOINTMENTS AT OUR LOCAL PHARMACY.
