IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF MATERNAL FETAL MEDICINE CLINICAL SERVICES BY PROVIDING STATE OF THE ART EVIDENCE-BASED EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS AND STATISTICALLY VALID MONITORING SYSTEMS TO EVALUATE CURRENT PRACTICES AND FACILITATE THE TRANSISTION OF AN EMERGING TECHNOLOGY INTO CLINICAL CARE.

THE PERINATAL QUALITY FOUNDATION PROVIDES EDUCATION TO PHYSICIANS,SONOGRAPHERS, AND OTHER CLINICIANS ON A STANDARDIZED METHOD FOR MEASURING THE FETAL NUCHAL TRANSLUCENCY. IN ADDITION, THE FOUNDATION PROVIDES EDUCATION ON MEASUREMENT AND USE OF CERVICAL LENGHTH MEASUREMENTS IN PREGNANCY TO IMPACT THE RISK OF PRETERM BIRTH. THE PERINATAL QUALITY FOUNDATION IS DEVELOPING WEB-BASED EDUCATION FOR PATIENTS AND PROVIDERS RELATED TO PRENATAL GENETIC TESTING AND PROVIDES ADDITIONAL RESOURCES AND CALCULATORS TO IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF OBSTETRICAL CARE.


THE PERINATAL QUALITY FOUNDATION PROVIDES INDIVIDUAL STATISTICAL REPORTS TO EVALUATE AND TRACK PARTICIPANTS NUCHAL TRANSLUCENCY MEASUREMENTS. THE FOUNDATION PROVIDES SCORED IMAGE REVIEW OF NUCHAL TRANSLUCENCY AND CERVICAL LENGTH IMAGES. THE FOUNDATION PROVIDES A CREDENTIALING EXAMINATION IN FETAL HEART RATE MONITORING FOR HEALTH CARE PROFESSIONALS INVOLVED WITH OBSTETRIC LABOR AND DELIVERY SERVICES.
