OUR MISSION IS TO RESCUE HOMELESS CATS AND KITTENS IN VENTURA COUNTY, WE ACHIEVE THIS THROUGH TNR, OFFERING SPAY & NEUTER EVENTS TO LOW-INCOME FAMILIES AND ADOPTION OF SOCIALIZED KITTENS & CATS. THESE SERVICES ARE DESIGNED TO ADDRESS OVERPOPULATION AND TO PREVENT CRUELTY TO ANIMALS BY PREVENTING THE BIRTH OF UNWANTED CATS AND KITTENS. IN 2001 WE BUILT A RURAL CAT SANCTUARY WHICH HOUSES 35 OR MORE UNADAPTABLE FERAL, PHYSICALLY CHALLENGED CATS.

TNR OF 648 ADULT CATS, FERAL CATS RETURNED TO FIELD, AFTER NEUTER, RABIES SHOT & FVRCP SHOT. ANY INJURED CATS WERE TREATED. SOCIAL CATS WERE ADOPTED INTO HOMES. 265 KITTENS, RESCUED FROM COMMUNITY CAT COLONIES. THESE KITTENS WERE PLACED WITH SEVERAL RESCUE GROUPS, WHO PROVIDED VETERINARY CARE, SPAY & NEUTER AND ADOPTION. 3 NON-ADOPTABLE CATS WERE ADMITTED INTO OUR SANCTUARY


53 CATS WERE SPAY & NEUTERED FOR FREE WITH SIMI VALLEY SPAY & NEUTER MOBILE BUS IN OXNARD, FOR LOW INCOME FAMILIES.


SANCTUARY CATS (35) PROVIDED VETERINARY CARE, FOOD, LITTER AND VET TECH CARE. 58 KITTENS ADOPTED INTO LIFE-LONG HOMES VETERINARY CARE PROVIDED, SPAY/NEUTER, MICROCHIP, VACCINES, FELV & FIV TESTING.
