STATEMENT OF PROGRAM SERVICES FOR FISCAL YEAR 2022-2023THE CONFLICT RESOLUTION CENTER OFFERS AFFORDABLE, ACCESSIBLE MEDIATION, TRAINING, EDUCATIONAL AND FACILITATION SERVICES THROUGHOUT SANTA CRUZ COUNTY. CRC SUPPORTS PEOPLE IN FINDING SATISFYING SOLUTIONS TO DIFFICULT PROBLEMS THROUGH THE FOLLOWING PROGRAMS: COMMUNITY MEDIATION PROGRAM: OFFERING MEDIATION AND CONFLICT COACHING FOR FAMILIES, PARTNERS, HOUSEMATES, LANDLORDS/TENANTS, NEIGHBORS AND NEIGHBORHOODS, SCHOOLS, ORGANIZATIONS, ASSOCIATIONS, AND CONSUMER/BUSINESS DISPUTES.WORKPLACE MEDIATION AND TRAINING: PROVIDING TAILORED, SKILL-BUILDING WORKSHOPS AND MEDIATION SERVICES TO HELP OWNERS, MANAGERS, AND EMPLOYEES REDUCE AND MANAGE CONFLICT.PUBLIC WORKSHOPS:OPEN-ENROLLMENT WORKSHOPS, OFFERED THROUGHOUT THE YEAR. WORKSHOP TOPICS INCLUDE CONFLICT RESOLUTION SKILLS FOR WORK AND LIFE, MEDIATION SKILLS FOR SUPERVISORS, BUILDING BETTER MEETINGS, DE-ESCALATION OF CONFLICTS, AND 40-HOUR COMMUNITY MEDIATION TRAINING.GROUP FACILITATION:OFFERING MEETING DESIGN, PREPARATION, MANAGEMENT AND FOLLOW-UP FOR SMALL AND LARGE GROUPS. SMALL CLAIMS MEDIATION PROGRAM: PROVIDING ON-SITE MEDIATION AS AN ALTERNATIVE TO LITIGATION ON THE DAY OF SMALL CLAIMS HEARINGS.RESTORATIVE JUSTICE PROGRAM: PROVIDING MEDIATIONS FOR OFFENDERS REFERRED FROM THE COUNTY PROBATION DEPARTMENT. THESE MEDIATIONS INCLUDE FACILITATED CONVERSATIONS BETWEEN OFFENDERS AND THE VICTIMS OF THEIR CRIMES; NEIGHBORHOODS IMPACTED BY JUVENILE CRIME, AND CONFERENCES BETWEEN OFFENDERS AND THEIR FAMILIES. CRC'S PARENT-TEEN MEDIATION PROGRAM HELPS TO BUILD COMMUNICATION IN FAMILIES WHOSE CHILDREN HAVE BEEN INVOLVED WITH THE JUSTICE SYSTEM. HOUSING MEDIATION PROGRAM:PROVIDING MEDIATION TO LANDLORDS AND TENANTS, PRE AND POST COURT FILING OF UNLAWFUL DETAINER CASES.OUR PROGRAMS PROVIDED ALMOST 4,000 HOURS OF MEDIATION, FACILITATION, TRAINING AND EDUCATION TO OVER 2,000 UNDUPLICATED INDIVIDUALS DURING THE FISCAL YEAR. WE WERE ABLE TO PROVIDE THIS LEVEL OF SERVICE WITH THE SUPPORT OF OVER 40 CRC TRAINED VOLUNTEERS AND 4 FULL TIME AND 3 PART TIME STAFF.
