KSBJ SPECIAL EVENTS (SPECIAL EVENTS) IS A MINISTRY THAT SERVES TO BRING TOGETHER THE BODY OF CHRIST. THE EVENTS WE PRODUCE SERVE AS A PLACE OF WORSHIP WHERE BELIEVERS CAN COME TOGETHER REGARDLESS OF DENOMINATION, RACE, POLITICAL AFFILIATION, OR ECONOMIC STATUS IN WORSHIP OF JESUS. THE MINISTRY OF SPECIAL EVENTS NOT ONLY PROVIDES AN OPPORTUNITY FOR PEOPLE TO BE MINISTERED TO THROUGH MUSIC FROM THEIR FAVORITE CHRISTIAN ARTISTS, BUT IT IS ALSO OUR GOAL TO INTRODUCE JESUS TO EVERY ATTENDEE AT EVERY EVENT. WHILE THE PRESENTATION OF THE GOSPEL MAY LOOK DIFFERENT DEPENDING ON THE AUDIENCE OR THE PRESENTER, WE SEEK TO PROVIDE A SAFE SPACE TO LEARN ABOUT JESUS FOR BOTH THOSE WANTING TO GROW DEEPER IN THEIR RELATIONSHIP WITH HIM AND FOR THOSE WHO ARE CHOOSING TO ACCEPT HIM FOR THE FIRST TIME. IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE KSBJ PRAYER DEPARTMENT, SPECIAL EVENTS PROVIDES OPPORTUNITIES FOR EACH EVENT ATTENDEE TO RECEIVE INDIVIDUAL PRAYER ONSITE OR THROUGH A TEXT-TO-PRAY PLATFORM DESIGNED FOR THOSE WHO MAY NOT BE READY TO SPEAK TO SOMEONE FACE-TO-FACE. IN COLLABORATION WITH THE KSBJ VOLUNTEER DEPARTMENT, SPECIAL EVENTS ALSO WORKS TO PROVIDE VOLUNTEERS THE OPPORTUNITY TO SERVE THE KINGDOM OF GOD THROUGH THE CONCERTS AND EVENT WE PRODUCE. WE ALSO PROUDLY WORK WITH OTHER AREA MINISTRIES AND ORGANIZATIONS TO HELP HIGHLIGHT THEIR PURPOSE AND PROGRAMS THROUGH OUR MINISTRY SPOTLIGHT INITIATIVE. AS OF 12/31/2020 THE ORGANIZATION CEASED OPERATIONS AS A SEPARATE COMPANY AND MERGED INTO HOPE MEDIA GROUP. THE ASSETS WERE DONATED AND RECORDED AT THE BOOK VALUE OF THE ASSETS DONATED.
