Part 3 - Line 4a

IN SUMMER CAMP WE SERVED APPROXIMATELY 8,600 GUESTS. OF THESE 30% WERE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL AGED CHILDREN, AND 70% WERE YOUTH IN GRADES 6 THROUGH 12. ABOUT HALF OF THESE WERE AT CAMP FOR SIX CAMPER DAYS, WHILE THE OTHER HALF WERE FOR THREE CAMPER DAYS.FOR TWO THIRDS OF SUMMER GUESTS WE RAN PROGRAMS THAT INCLUDE WORSHIP AND SPIRITUAL INSTRUCTION, RECREATION AND EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES THAT INTEGRATE FAITH AND FUN, AND COUNSELORS TRAINED TO CONTRIBUTE TO THE SPIRITUAL DEVELOPMENT OF CHILDREN AND YOUTH. THE OTHER THIRD OF GUESTS ATTENDED WITH THEIR OWN CHURCH OR OTHER GROUP AND RAN THEIR OWN PROGRAM OF PERSONAL AND SPIRITUAL FORMATION WITH SUPPORT FROM OUR STAFF IN RECREATION, FOOD SERVICES, AND SUPERVISION OF CHILDREN AND YOUTH.

IN NON-SUMMER MONTHS WE SERVED APPROXIMATELY 8,530 GUESTS. MOST CAME WITH THEIR OWN CHURCH, CIVIC ORGANIZATION, SCHOOL OR OTHER MINISTRY. AS IN SUMMER WE SUPPORT THEIR AGENDA, WHICH FOR MOST IS A SPIRITUALLY FOCUSED RETREAT. WE PROVIDED FOOD SERVICE, EVENT PLANNING AND MANAGEMENT AND STAFF FOR ALL ACTIVITIES AND RECREATION.

THE THIRD LARGEST PROGRAM WOULD BE OUR NON-SUMMER MID-WEEK PROGRAMS FOR SCHOOL GROUPS. WE PROGRAM THESE AS A CONTINUATION OF OUR SUMMER THEMED CAMPS. WE PROVIDED APPROXIMATELY 10 WEEKS OF SCHOOL GROUP CAMPS WITH AN AVERAGE OF 70 CAMPERS PER SESSION.
