THE CHF REVOLVING LOAN FUND IS A PERMANENT SOURCE OF CAPITAL FUNDS FOR HISTORIC PRESERVATION PROJECTS IN COLORADO. THE LOAN FUND IS MANAGED IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE COLORADO HOUSING AND FINANCE AUTHORITY AND PROVIDES BELOW-MARKET FIXED-RATE LOANS TO SUPPLEMENT STATE HISTORICAL FUND GRANTS AND OTHER FUNDING SOURCES FOR PROJECTS FOLLOWING THE SECRETARY OF THE INTERIOR'S STANDARDS FOR THE TREATMENT OF HISTORIC PROPERTIES. THE LOAN PROGRAM OFFERS SECURED LOANS FOR TERMS UP TO FIVE YEARS WITH FLEXIBLE REPAYMENT SCHEDULES. INTEREST RATES, LOAN AMOUNTS, AND REPAYMENT TERMS ARE RECOMMENDED BY THE LOAN COMMITTEE WITH ADVICE FROM STAFF, CHFA, AND LEGAL COUNSEL, AND APPROVED BY THE BOARD.
