TO ADVANCE THE SUCCESS OF WOMEN IN COMMERCIAL REAL ESTATE, AND TO INFLUENCE THE SUCCESS OF THE COMMERCIAL REAL ESTATE INDUSTRY BY FOCUSING ON FULFILLING FOUR KEY INITIATIVES: BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT, LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT, INDUSTRY RESEARCH AND CAREER OUTREACH.

THE GENERAL MEMBERSHIP OF GREATER FORT WORTH COMMERCIAL REAL ESTATE WOMEN, INC. MEETS ONCE A MONTH TO DISCUSS CURRENT ISSUES, EXCHANGE STRATEGIES AND PROVIDE VERBAL SUPPORT TO EACH OTHER. THE ORGANIZATION HAS A GUEST SPEAKER EACH MONTH DISCUSSING TOPICS OF INTEREST TO THE MEMBERSHIP RANGING FROM LEGAL ISSUES, ENVIRONMENTAL ISSUES, CITY ORDINANCE AND ZONING MATTERS, SALES AND PRESENTATION THEORIES AND, ONCE OR TWICE A YEAR, ISSUES OF A MORE PERSONAL NATURE, SUCH AS WOMEN'S HEALTH ISSUES AND TIME MANAGEMENT. A FEW TIMES THROUGHOUT THE YEAR, SMALLER GROUPS OUT OF THE MEMBERSHIP WILL PARTICIPATE IN OTHER ACTIVITIES, SUCH AS ASSISTING AT AND/OR ATTENDING EXPOSITIONS AND FUNCTIONS DEALING WITH WOMEN'S ISSUES AND ATTENDING MEETINGS OF OTHER ORGANIZATIONS. FOR THE PAST TEN YEARS, GREATER FORT WORTH COMMERCIAL REAL ESTATE WOMEN, INC. HAS CO-SPONSORED A HOLIDAY EVENT WITH OTHER REAL ESTATE GROUPS TO ENCOURAGE INTERACTION OF THE MEMBERS OF GROUPS. THE ORGANIZATION HAS SPONSORED A CONTINUING EDUCATION CLASS FROM TIME TO TIME; HOWEVER BECAUSE THE ORGANIZATION IS NON-PROFIT IN NATURE, IT DOES NOT MAINTAIN THE LEVEL OF FUNDS NECESSARY TO ENGAGE IN THIS ACTIVITY MORE THAN ONCE EVERY ONE OR TWO YEARS. CREW FORT WORTH ALSO PROVIDES AN ADDITIONAL SERVICE THROUGH THE CHAPTER LEADERSHIP CIRCLE. THE LEADERSHIP CIRCLE PROGRAM PROVIDES A CLEAR CUT WAY FOR CHAPTERS TO PARTICIPATE AT MUCH LOWER RATES THAN THE CORPORATE SPONSORS, WHILE RECEIVING EVEN GREATER EXPOSURE TO PARTICIPATE AND DEMONSTRATE LEADERSHIP AS A CREW CHAPTER AT THE CREW NETWORK LEVEL.
