THE PLANO FIREFIGHTERS ASSOCIATION IS A UNIFIED GROUP OF PROFESSIONAL FIREFIGHTERS, WHOSE MISSION IS TO PROMOTE FIRE SAFETY, RAISE MONEY FOR MUSCULAR DYSTROPHY THROUGH THE "FILL THE BOOT" CAMPAIGN, AND ASSIST ITS MEMBERSHIP WITH EMPLOYMENT AND HEALTH ISSUES. THE ASSOCIATION ALSO ASSISTS WITH CHARITABLE CAUSES RELATED TO ITS MEMBERSHIP BASE -- SUCH AS GIVING FUNDS TO SURVIVING SPOUSES AND THEIR FAMILIES -- AND IS ALSO ACTIVE IN GIVING TO OTHER CHARITABLE ACTIVITIES.

THE PLANO FIREFIGHTERS ASSOCIATION SPONSORS THE "FILL THE BOOT" CAMPAIGN WHICH RAISES MONEY FOR MUSCULAR DYSTROPHY ASSOCIATION. THE ORGANIZATION HAS TWO CAMPAIGNS A YEAR TO HELP RAISE MONEY FOR THE ORGANIZATION.


THE PLANO FIREFIGHTERS ASSOCIATION HOLDS AN APPRECIATION BANQUET ANNUALLY TO HONOR THE OUTSTANDING SERVICE OF THE FIREFIGHTERS. MANY FIREFIGHTERS ARE RECOGNIZED FOR THEIR SERVICE TO THE COMMUNITY.
