MEDICAL CENTER HEALTH SYSTEM FOUNDATION IS CONTRACTED WITH THE CHILDREN'S MIRACLE NETWORK (CMN) AND PARTICIPATES IN THE NATIONAL ORGANIATION'S TELETHON EVERY JUNE IN ADDITION, OTHER CMN EVENTS ARE HELD THROUGHOUT THE YEAR TO RAISE ADDITIONAL FUNDS INCLUDING A RADIO-A-THON, A SPANISH RADIO-A-THON, MIRACLE BALLOON SALES, SPRINGFEST, BOOK FAIR, AND JEWELRY SALES. THE DONATED MONIES ARE USED EXCLUSIVELY FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE ECTOR COUNTY HOSPITAL DISTRICT, EITHER DIRECTLY OR BY CONTRIBUTION TO ORGANIZATIONS THAT QUALIFY AS EXEMPT ORGANIZATIONS UNDER SECTION 501(C)(3) OF THE INTERNAL REVENUE CODE AND ITS REGULATIONS.
