THE FOUNDATION IS A TEXAS NONPROFIT CORPORATION FORMED IN 2002 TO PROMOTE MEDICAL SCIENCE THROUGH RESEARCH IN THE FIELD OF PSYCHIATRY AND ITS RELATED DISCIPLINES; TO PROVIDE FOR THE INSTRUCTION OF PHYSICIANS, NURSES, THERAPISTS, AND EDUCATORS IN A BROAD AND INTENSIVE UNDERSTANDING OF THE HUMAN PERSONALITY; AND TO PROVIDE DIAGNOSIS, TREATMENT, AND CARE OF PATIENTS, INCLUDING THOSE WHOSE FUNDS MAY NOT BE ADEQUATE FOR SUCH TREATMENT.
