THE DALLAS BAR ASSOCIATION IS A NONPROFIT CORPORATION CHARTERED BY THE STATE OF TEXAS TO PROTECT AND ADVANCE THE PROFESSIONAL INTERESTS OF PERSONS LICENSED TO PRACTICE LAW IN THE DALLAS AREA, TO IMPROVE THE RELATIONS BETWEEN THE BENCH, THE BAR, AND THE PUBLIC, AND TO ADVANCE CORDIAL COMMUNICATION AMONG LAWYERS.

Part 3 - Line 4a

CONTINUING LEGAL EDUCATION -DAILY LUNCHEON CLINIC PROGRAMS AND ONLINE HYBRID AND VIRTUAL MEETINGS FEATURING DISCUSSIONS ON SPECIAL TOPICS BY EXPERTS IN EACH FIELD; MONTHLY CONTINUING EDUCATION PROGRAMS HELD BY EACH OF THE 30 SECTIONS.


MEMBERSHIP DUES AND ASSESSMENTS - THE ANNUAL DUES PAID TO THE ASSOCIATION BY ITS MEMBERS ARE ITS PRIMARY SOURCE OF SUPPORT. THE DUES ARE PAYMENTS MEANT TO PROVIDE SUPPORT FOR THE ASSOCIATION IN EXCHANGE FOR THE GENERAL BENEFITS OF MEMBERSHIP DERIVED FROM AFFILIATION WITH THE ASSOCIATION, AND THUS BARE A DIRECT CASUAL RELATIONSHIP TO THE ACCOMPLISHMENT OF THE ASSOCIATION'S EXEMPT PURPOSES.


MISCELLANEOUS -VARIOUS EXPENSES ARE PAID BY THE ASSOCIATION TO GENERALLY FURTHER BAR EXEMPT PURPOSES.
