THE ROTARY CLUB OF FORT WORTH IS A CIVIC ORGANIZATION WHOSE MISSION IS TO PROVIDE SERVICE TO OTHERS, PROMOTE INTEGRITY AND ADVANCE WORLD PEACE, GOODWILL, AND UNDERSTANDING.

ROTARY INTERNATIONAL AND ROTARY DISTRICT PER CAPITA DUES TO PROMOTE AND CONTINUE SERVICE PROGRAMS UNDER THE ROTARY MOTTO OF SERVICE ABOVE SELF AND MAINTAIN GOOD STANDING WITH ROTARY INTERNATIONAL


FORM 990, PART III, LINE 4D - OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES: (1) THE PRESIDENT-ELECT, ROTARIANS AND STAFF ATTEND CONFERENCES TO EXCHANGE IDEAS WITH OTHERS. SOME CONFERENCES ARE MANDATORY IN ORDER TO FULFILL ROTARY INTERNATIONAL REQUIREMENTS. (2) EXPENSES INCLUDE THE COST OF MEETING TO ELECT THE OFFICERS, THE PRINTING OF BALLOTS, AND PURCHASING THE PRESIDENT'S PIN AND PLAQUE. (3) ACTIVITIES ARE PLANNED TO ENABLE MEMBERS TO GET AQUAINTED IN LESS FORMAL SETTINGS IN FULFILLMENT OF THE CLUB'S VOCATIONAL SERVICE REQUIREMENTS. ADDITIONALLY, OTHER MEMBERSHIP SUPPORT EXPENSES THAT ARE INCURRED, SUCH AS PHOTOS OF MEMBERS, PINS, CARDS, AND FLOWERS, HELP MEMBERS REMAIN CONNECTED TO EACH OTHER AND TO THE CLUB.


THE COMMUNITY AND CLUB SERVICE COMMITTEES PROVIDE SERVICES TO THE COMMUNITY SUCH AS CAREER COUNSELING TO STUDENTS TO ENHANCE THEIR CONCEPT OF VOLUNTEERISM AND WRITING SKILLS, SPONSORSHIP OF OUTREACH DRIVES SUCH AS TOY DRIVE, FOOD DRIVE, SCHOOL SUPPLY DRIVE, TOILETRY DRIVE AND SUPPORT OUTREACH DRIVES FOR VETERANS, ETC.
