THE MISSION OF THE AMERICAN ADVERTISING FEDERATION-HOUSTON IS TO ADVANCE THE ADVERTISING PROFESSION IN THE GREATER HOUSTON AREA BY SUPPORTING INDUSTRY RECRUITMENT AND EDUCATION; BY COMMUNICATING TO THE REGIONAL BUSINESS AND PROFESSIONAL COMMUNITIES, AS WELL AS TO GOVERNMENTAL ORGANIZATIONS, THE ECONOMIC AND SOCIAL VALUE OF ADVERTISING; BY FOSTERING IMPROVEMENT OF ITS EFFECTIVENESS; AND BY PROMOTING ETHICAL SELF-REGULATION.THE AMERICAN ADVERTISING FEDERATION ("AAF") HEADQUARTERED IN WASHINGTON, D.C., IS THE OLDEST NATIONAL ADVERTISING TRADE ASSOCIATION OF 40,000 ADVERTISING INDUSTRY PROFESSIONALS IN A NATIONAL NETWORK OF 150+ LOCAL FEDERATIONS IN 15 DISTRICTS ACROSS THE NATION.
